The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily in one hand and are durable enough to be used on long walks. They're also easy to move and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. We've seen a few combinations that can only be connected or detached using straps, which can feel like an extra step and make it more difficult for parents to secure the car seat properly.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together, and it even includes a handy quick-start guide which makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models, like the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively simple to assemble. Contrary to that, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to assemble because it requires two steps to assemble - attaching the lower anchors, and using straps to cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to snap the carrier into the base, and then remove it.

In our tests, it took around 5 minutes to assemble the UPPAbaby Cruz. This is a quick process when you consider the time saved from not having to rip out each piece. The toddler seat can be put together and removed with ease on most of these models.
