Types of UPVC Door Handles

Lever/Lever

Lever/Moveable Pad

This is a well-known handle style for front doors. It comes with the benefit of keeping the door from opening by the outside without a key if the lock is not deadlocked. This is achieved by a 'pad' shaped external handle which locks in the gap between the handles and lock case to prevent the latch from being pulled back or the door from being opened.

This kind of handle is designed to fit uPVC doors that are fitted with multipoint locks that operate using a split spindle operation. This kind of operation requires the internal lever handle and the external pad handle to be installed to the same lock case. This could be a straightforward replacement of the current uPVC handle, but it may also require a change in the lock case or a new set to handle furniture.

Lever handles are one of the most common kinds of upvc door handles. They are available in various styles. It is made up of two inline handles that can be locked and moved with a thumbturn cylinder or keys. Pad handles are an alternative to a lever or lever handle. It consists of a fixed or movable pad that can be used to control the lock. These Fullex handles have a sprung lever pad and a snib that can be activated to hold the latch.
