Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo Self Empty

Vacuum-mop combinations make it easy to keep hard floors spotless. These machines are ideal for quick cleaning between more thorough vacuuming.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra is a great option for those who want to mop without touching the machine. Its base is bulky but not ugly and it can hold clean and dirty water tanks large enough to last for several sessions.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo J7+ takes the fantastic Roomba J7 vacuum and puts the wet mopping feature. This smart robot mops up spills and sticky messes while avoiding obstacles and returning to its dock at the conclusion of its cleaning cycle. It's a great choice for homes with hard floors and can also be used to clean tiles or rugs with mixed surface areas.

The Combo j7+, like all Roomba models, is great in sucking up dirt. PrecisionVision and iRobot OS help the robot to navigate with greater efficiency. It can avoid typical objects, like cords or pet messes. The iRobot Combo j7+ is able to avoid furniture, such as tall chairs with backs which could catch the robot under them.

When the iRobot Combo j7+ realizes that it's on a surface that needs to be cleaned using water, a little robot arm rises and swings a small mopping pad underneath it. It was a very intuitive system that performed well during my testing. However, I noticed that it was unable to completely remove liquids that are water-based, such as juice or wine. Thankfully, the mopping pad can be easily cleaned and reused.

The camera on the front of the iRobot Combo is also useful. It can detect dangers like power cables and pet waste and avoid them to ensure a thorough cleaning. This feature is more effective than the cameras found on other robot vacuums that tend to get caught up in things like rug tassels. It is worth noting that the iRobot Combo ju7+'s front camera is susceptible to blind spots and could be unable to see certain objects.

The iRobot Combo ju7+ is expensive, however it performs well enough to justify the cost. It's received a good rating from customers who appreciate its clever features. It's worth looking at alternatives, such as the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni. Unfortunately, the robot is not equipped with the other features that are expected of a robot vacuum cleaner self emptying of this type. The mops are great, but their maximum runtime of 60 minutes is lower than we would like to have in a product with such a price tag. It also doesn't vacuum after a mopping session or automatically empty its charging station.

However, it's still a good choice for those who live in large houses because the mapping and cleaning processes are quick and efficient. The app is easy to use, and you can even set schedules for when it will be working. You can still use the remote to control it if don't want to use a strong WIFI connection.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision isn't cheap, but it offers a lot of smart functions that make up for the price. The live monitoring of your home is fantastic, and it looks pretty cool as well. It's an excellent option for those with pets, children, or just is looking to monitor their home even when they're away. Most people who have an automated mop and vacuum claim to be amazed at how quickly their floors improve after starting to use them regularly.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra

It has a number of useful features like aggressive mopping, higher suction power (up to 5,100Pa as opposed to the earlier models' 2,400Pa) and much more. It also features a precise lidar navigation system that operates in 3D similar to radar. This lets it observe things such as baseboards, chairs and furniture legs so it can precisely maneuver around them. It is able to create custom cleaning routines that you initiate by tapping, such as an "After Meal mode" that systematically vacuums and scrubs the kitchen floors.

This two-in-one has one unique feature not found in most other robots. VibraRise raises the mopping pad when it detects carpeting, to keep the area rug from getting wet. It also makes mopping more effective. It also has an advanced cleaning feature that vacuums and mops carpets in one step, getting rid of dust and dirt faster than spinning mops. You can also use the app to set an agenda for your weekly cleaning or clean on demand.

While the S7 Max Ultra does a excellent job in its tasks, it's not without drawbacks. The price is the biggest. It's the highest-priced robot vacuum and mop combo I've ever reviewed. The other issues are less specific to this model but are more indicative of the robotic vacuum market as a whole It's not able to deal with heavy spills or large, sticky messes well.

The S7 Max Ultra is easy to set up: just connect it, sync it with your phone via Wi-Fi and then begin a clean-up. Once you've completed this, you can modify the settings within the app, including setting no-go zones, and scheduling cleanings.

Another big bonus is its outstanding obstacle avoidance system. During testing it only got stuck in tight spaces twice, which is much superior to the S6 MaxV's three tries, or the X1 Omni's four tries. The app lets you mark an object as temporary obstruction, and the S7 Max Ultra ignores it when it comes to cleaning.

Narwal Freo

The Narwal Freo is one of the few robots that integrates vacuuming and mops in its design. It's one of the most affordable combo bots we reviewed. The Freo's impressive cleaning capabilities and a wide range of options for customization make it a solid choice for any home that requires a combination cleaner. However, the absence of advanced obstacle avoidance features and an elegant app dampened our enthusiasm for this model.

The first thing you need to do is scan your space. This will help Freo identify the area it will clean. This process will take about one minute. Once the Freo has a better idea of where everything is located it will be better able to navigate during subsequent cleanings.

Freo can also identify a room for mopping or dry vacuuming. This lets it be more efficient in switching between the two functions. It's also smart enough to know when its mop pads become dirty and automatically return to the dock to refill and then return to dry clean hard surfaces.

The Freo's ability to vacuum and mop carpets is one of its strengths. The two mops pads on the Freo are automatically raised when the Freo comes into contact with carpet which allows it to utilize less power and energy while still removing dirt. It is also able to remove sand and oatmeal without needing to go through multiple times with the vac/mop.

The Freo's unique tilted side brushes are a tribute to street sweeper trucks and do a well in taking in and sweeping out dirt particles. The rounded body and premium finish make the Freo an attractive appearance. The robot can be controlled by an LCD screen on its base station. We prefer to use the app for smartphones.

The app comes with a range of options to modify the Freo's behavior, including schedules for busy rooms and spot cleanings, as well as the option to turn on a parental lock.
